1961-2018
Tommy Collins, 57, of Snyder, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 in Houston. 
Funeral arrangements are pending at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

David McCarter
1954-2018
David Melvin “Milkcrate” McCarter, 64, of  Snyder, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018 at his residence.
A service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. McCarter was born on Sept. 21, 1954 in Rotan to Dayton McCarter and Mary Pherigo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Zack McCarter of Snyder; one daughter, Krystle Albarez and her husband, Ed, of Snyder; five grandchildren, Riley Spill, Marley Spill, Angel McCarter, Bre Taylor and Baker Walker; and many special friends.

Jean McGuire
1934-2018
Jean Birdwell McGuire, 84, of Bandera and formerly of Snyder, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 in San Antonio.
Funeral service for Mrs. McGuire will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Revs. Mike Harrington and Nicky Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Mrs.  McGuire was born on Feb. 12, 1934 in Robeline, La. to William Leon and Edna (Gilcrease) Blackledge. Jean was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Snyder. She owned and operated several businesses during her time in Snyder, including Chaparral Answering Service, Kwik Grocery on the East Highway and Jean’s Deli, as well as an assisted living home. 
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Clarence Birdwell, Wilson Birdwell and Troy McGuire; two brothers, Lyndon Wayne and William Blackledge; and one sister, Shirley Campbell.
Survivors include two daughters, Lynda Cathey and her husband, Jack, of Weatherford and Brenda Cole and her husband, Don, of Bandera; one son, Ernie Vincent Simons Jr. and his wife, Sheila, of El Paso; one sister, Mary Sparks Pherigo of Ville Platte, La.; four grandchildren, Shea Cole of Dallas, Kacy Glassinger and her husband, Steve, of Weatherford, Steven Wade Hyatt and his wife, Lacy, of San Angelo and Stacy Lammons of Comanche; eight great-grandchildren, Emery and Camden Glassinger, Courtney, Jayce, Justin and Kayla Hyatt and David and Kimber Lammons; and three great-grandchildren.
