Quann Bryant, 99, of Snyder, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Snyder Oaks Care Center.

Evelyn Evans
1934-2019
Evelyn Evans, or Grams to all who knew her, passed away March 7, 2019 at her home afgter a short illness,at the age of 84.
Graveside service for Mrs. Evans will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Hospice Chaplain Kinney Robinson officiating. The service will be under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Evans was born on December 17, 1934 in Sweetwater to Ernest and Edith Wilson.
Evelyn “Grams” worked as a secretary for Snyder ISD in the bus/maintenance barn for 20-plus years. Prior to that, she was a mother and homemaker. She was active at Colonial Hill Baptist Church until the health of her sister, Bonnie, declined and she decided to become Bonnie’s caregiver. She was involved in the nursery department of Colonial Hill as she loved the little ones. She was also a member of one of the ladies classes at Colonial Hill.
She loved to crochet and made many afghans for people. She was also a great cook and a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. 
She was an avid gardener and had a beautiful yard with many flowers and a beautiful fish pond where she sat for many, many hours. 
She loved all animals. She loved to read and read through the Bible numerous times and memorized all of the books of the Bible — which she quoted to the nurses and doctors at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. 
She always put others first before herself.  
Evelyn “Grams” loved everyone and made many friends over the years. Thank you all for the prayers, they were deeply felt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hub Evans; one daughter, Tammy Evans; her parents; two sisters, Ernestine Dismuke and Bonnie Ervin; and two brothers, Keith Wilson and Kenneth Wilson.
Survivors include one son, Neil Evans and his wife, Debra, of Snyder; one daughter, Sammie Poe and her husband, Gary, of Snyder; one brother, Bobby Wilson and his wife, Betty, of Irving; two sisters-in-law, Janice Smith of View and  Bobbie Evans of Stephenville; eight grandchildren, Amber Cline and her husband, Jim Bob, and Lindsey Palacios and her husband, Robert, all of Snyder, Austin Lyle and his wife, Jillian, and John Gilbert, all of Lubbock, Troy Evans of San Antonio, Jordan Mallory and her husband, Mark, of Stephenville, Andy Poe of Odessa and Stacey Poe of Kerrville; 10 great-grandchildren, Macey Palacios, Gavin Escalera and Cooper and Kristen Cline, all of Snyder, Connor Escalera of Blackhawk, Colo., Journey and Collins Lyle of Lubbock, Veda Poe of Harper, Drake Poe and his wife, Kaitlyn, of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. and Jordan Poe of Port Aransas; and two great-great-grandchildren, Layla Hawkins of Harper and Christopher Cline of Snyder.
She will be dearly missed by special friends, Carl and Helen Mock, David Lyle, Mike and Laurie Flynn, John and Vicki Flynn, Tim and Maria Flynn, Richard and Ladelle Nicholson, and numerous other family and close friends.
Memorials may be made to Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder.

Guadalupe Garcia
1935-2019
Guadalupe  Garcia, 83, of Snyder, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Garcia will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Raj Arokiasamy officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
A rosary will be held from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born on  March 14, 1935 in Dilley to Joe and Felicita Rodriguez, she married Roberto Garcia in June 1956  in San Antonio. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. 
She was active in the church and was a member of the  Guadalupanas and Cursillistas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roberto, one brother, Chris Rodriguez, and one grandson, Nicholas Garcia.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth DeLoera and her husband, Tommy, of Snyder and Linda Lewis and her husband, Jeff, of Keller; four sons, Robert Garcia of Euless, Albert Garcia and his wife, Sylvia, of Azle, Rick Garcia and his wife, Sylvia, of Fort Worth and Daniel Garcia and his wife, Jeanette, of Burleson; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
