Elene Reeves
Elene Ellen Reeves, 99, died Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Sweetwater.
Funeral service for Mrs. Reeves will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darold Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery.
Born on Feb. 13, 1920 in Scurry County to T.O. and Etta (Kellum) Dixon, she married Noah Reeves on Aug. 10, 1947 in Snyder. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2004. 
She was a homemaker and member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, T.O. and Etta Dixon; three sons, Tommy Tucker, Jackie Tucker and Kenneth Reeves; one brother, Thomas Dixon; and two sisters, Pearl Shaw and Juanita Benbenek.
Survivors include one son, Jerry D. Tucker and his wife, Phyllis, of Colorado City; one sister, Doris Wilson of Snyder; one nephew, Darren Benbenek of San Angelo; 10 grandchildren, Cindy, Stephanie, Tommy, Jeri Lynn, Cade, Kalli, Kammi, Kolleen, Kasey and Katie; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Joseph Williamson
Joseph Terrell Williamson, 97, of Snyder, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. 
Funeral service for Mr. Williamson will be held ay 2 p.m. Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Bobby Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. 
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Joseph Terrell Williamson was born in Lubbock to Terrell and Willie Mae Williamson on Sept. 15, 1921. He was a 1939 graduate of Colorado City High School and played in the band. He played in the Texas Tech band in 1939 and 1940. 
He met, fell in love and married Joyce Rees. They were married on Nov. 2, 1941 in Westbrook and had 67 beautiful and happy years together. Joyce died on March 18, 2009. They were the proud parents of Linda Jane, Jay Terrell and Jodi Gale. They were the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren, Todd Maroney, Jana (Maroney) Fariss and her husband, Monty, Aubin (Maroney) Pope, Seth Williamson, Jayme (Williamson) Severson and her husband, Jeff, Julie (Williamson) Kunkle and her husband, Kurt, Jayne (Williamson) Huggins and her husband, Ben, and Brooke Williamson; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by one sister, Yvonne Koertge of Indianapolis, Ind., and was preceded in death by one sister, Madalynne Jones.
During his 64 years in Snyder, America, along with his many insurance awards, some of Joe’s contributions to his community included being past president of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Snyder Country Club, past president of the Snyder Kiwanis Club, the first president of Western Texas College Booster Club, past president of the Snyder Quarterback Club, past president of the Snyder Shriner Club, Knights Templar and 32nd degree Mason and a member of First United Methodist Church. 
Joe was full of life and one of a kind. He will be missed.
