Lois Geneva Moore, 85, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Lubbock.
Funeral service for Mrs. Moore will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Matt Lowry officiating. The Rev. Steve Highfield will assist. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on March 24, 1933 in Forney, Ala. to Henry and Ada (Porter) Highfield, she enjoyed bowling, traveling and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lola McFall, Thelma Loveless, Grace Woods and Pearly Storey; and four brothers, Frank Highfield, Monroe Highfield, Douglas Highfield and Bobby Highfield.
Survivors include her husband, J.B. Moore of Snyder; one daughter, Brenda Ingram and her husband, Junior, of Snyder; one son, Tommy Moore and his wife, Teresa, of Hermleigh; five grandchildren, Wendy Grimes and her husband, Bobby, and Haley Leatherwood and her husband, Craig, all of Snyder, Misty Hamilton and her husband, Brian, of Boerne and Bridget Claxton and her husband, B.J., and Tiffanie Hildebrand and her husband, Michael, all of Hermleigh; one sister, Betty Nation of Lindale, Ga.; and two brothers, Robert Highfield and his wife, Arleta, of Plainview and Melvin Highfield and his wife, Jo, of Plainville, Ga.

Raul Bernal Villa, 49, of Snyder, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Big Spring.
Funeral service for Mr. Villa will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Hermleigh. Burial will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Villa was born on Nov. 1, 1968 in Patterson, Calif. to Patricio and Mary (Bernal) Villa.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, David Gonzales, Simon Gonzales and Richard Villa, and one sister, Irma “Suki” Villa.
Survivors include hs wife, Herlinda Villa of Snyder; his mother, Mary Bernal of Hermleigh; his father, Patricio Villa of Manteca, Calif.; two daughters, Kryztena Villa of Snyder and Amanda Villa of Dimmitt; two sons, Robert Villa of Farmington, N.M. and Antonio Villa of Lubbock; one sister, Alicia Ramirez of Modesto, Calif.; two grandchildren, Johnny Rei Lujan and Laila Rai Luera; and many nieces and nephews.
