Beverly Ann was born on Jan. 23, 1937 to Claude and Dora Turner Johnson in Dimmitt. On Feb. 11, 1956, Beverly married the love of her life, Carl M. Russell Sr. in Dimmitt. She graduated from Dimmitt High School and attended Texas Tech, where she met Carl and married. She was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church and until her health did not allow her to attend, was active in many church functions and activities. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a past member of the Women’s Club and several bridge clubs, but loved their travel club the most. She and Carl traveled the country in their motor home and had friends from coast to coast. She loved Jesus and would never pass the opportunity to share her devotion to Him. Her love and tenacity will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She was a perfect lady, always caring for her family and friends. We celebrate her life and rejoice in her new eternal life.
