Earline Annetta Brooks, 90, of Snyder, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Brooks will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Daniels\ officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery.\
Visitation will be held from 4-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 3, 1927 in Fluvanna to George W. and Jewel Deere Daniels, she married Weldon Bryant Brooks on\ Aug. 9, 1946.\He preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1994. Mrs. Brooks was a housewife, a bookkeeper for Brooks Brothers Construction and an officer\and lifetime\ member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Weldon Brooks and his wife, Kathy, of Snyder and Billy Wayne Brooks and his wife, Nita, of Colorado City; two daughters, Lucille Clinkinbeard and Bobbie Anita Forbes, both of Snyder; six grandchildren, Dewayne Clinkinbeard and his wife, Yara, of Manhattan, Kan., Brian Clinkinbeard and his wife,\Ginny, of Fort Worth, Tyra Martinez and her husband, David, and Michelle Welsh and her husband, Chad, all of Snyder, Stanley Forbes, and Daniel Mescher, of Houston and Austin Forbes and his wife, Kelby, of Amarillo; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
