Scurry County EMS paramedic Russel Thomas performed an EKG scan on Mandi Calley this morning. The free EKG scans are provided each February by Scurry County EMS and will continue through 6 p.m. today in the EMS training room at the armory in Towle Park.
Scurry County Sheriff’s Deputies Juan Rodriguez (left) and Kevin Roemisch assessed  the damage of a vehicle involved in a rollover accident this morning on U.S. Hwy. 84 near Hermleigh. The driver was not injured in the accident.

Sweetwater Intermediate School students Adison Cotten used a pogo stick during her performance with the school jump rope team at Ira ISD this morning. The team, made up of fifth graders, also performed at Snyder Intermediate School, Snyder Primary School and Hermleigh ISD as part of its spring tour.
