Ira ISD students (l-r) Brice Waits, Grayson Barbee and Sebastian Sosa held posters they made stating the core values for receiving a Medal of Honor during today’s Veterans Day ceremony in the cafetorium. The values are courage, commitment, integrity, sacrifice, citizenship and patriotism. Elementary students also honored veterans by singing patriotic songs and treating veterans and their families to lunch.
