Holy Week services begin Monday in Snyder with noon services through Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, and a Friday morning breakfast at First United Methodist Church.

The Ministerial Alliance of Scurry County sponsors Holy Week services and invites everyone to attend.

Noon worship services will be followed by a meal during the week at 12:30.

“This is our opportunity to show our oneness in Christ during the week leading to His death and resurrection. An outstanding group of speakers will bring the message. Please join us,” said Rev. Fane Downs of First Presbyterian Church.

On Monday, Rev. Downs will bring the message with the meal provided by First Presbyterian Church.

On Tuesday, Dr. Tommy Culwell, pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church will speak and the lunch will be provided by members of his church.

Wednesday’s message will be brought by Tony Wofford of Word is Life Deliverance Church and the meal provided joinly by his congregation and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.

On Thursday, Jim Hill of First Christian Church will preach and the meal provided by members of his congregation and Faith in Action Church.

Friday’s meeting will change to early morning with Buddy Payne of First United Methodist Church preaching and the 7 a.m. breakfast provided by FUMC members.
