The Tigers will get in at least one more tune-up while awaiting their area round opponent.

Snyder (20-4, 9-1) will take on District 3-4A champion Canyon Randall at 4 p.m. Saturday at Moegle Field in Lubbock.

The Tigers won their first practice game Saturday, 9-7, over Post.

Head coach Charles Bollinger split the Post game between three pitchers, and will start senior ace Ty Collier against Randall.

The Tigers, who are waiting on the winner between Amarillo River Road and Muleshoe, are lined up in the same bracket as Canyon High School.

Canyon also received a bye, and will play the winner of the Seminole-Pecos bi-district series.

District 3-3A Sweetwater will play Midland Greenwood in the bi-district round, with the winner of that series taking on third-ranked Lubbock Cooper for the area title.

Snyder will be the site of the opening game of a three-game bi-district series between Colorado City and Shallowater.

Colorado City, the second runner-up in District 3-2A, and District 4-2A runner-up Shallowater will battle at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Moffett Field.

Game two of the series moves to Lubbock Christian Saturday with a noon start time.
