Ruth Cardwell
1923-2004
Ruth Johnson Cardwell, longtime Snyder resident, died
Friday, March 26, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Funeral service for Mrs. Cardwell, 80, is set for 2 p.m.
Sunday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Vernon R. Groce and
Vernon E. Groce, officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Born Nov. 28, 1923 in Post Oak, she married R.L. Cardwell
on May 25, 1991 in Snyder.
Mrs. Cardwell had lived in Snyder about 40 years and was
a retired reflexologist and the owner of rental properties in Snyder.
She had attended the Lighthouse Assembly of God, the
First Assembly of God and currently was a member of the Snyder Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, R.L. Cardwell of Snyder;
two step-sons, Bobby Cardwell of Amarillo and Larry Cardwell of Springtown; three sisters,
Grace Rhodes, Dillia Holley and Lorene Holman, all of Graham; a brother Clinton Johnson of
Graham; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and num-erous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was set for 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday at
Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
