Bob Knight, Texas Tech’s men’s basketball coach, will be the featured speaker and also to be recognized are members of this year’s Lady Tigers basketball team.
The Lady Tigers finished a sparkling season with a record of 27-3 that included 26 straight wins before eventually losing in the playoff to the eventual state champions, the Canyon Lady Eagles.
Tickets are $25 for the April 21 event. Deadline for purchasing tickets is April 16.
Co-chairing the event are Judy Moss and Anita Talbott.

Local citizens will be recognized at the banquet for their civic work in the community as six annual awards will be given.
They are the Sizemore Award, Vestal Award, Chamber’s Choice, Winston Award, McLaughlin Award and Award in Educational Excellence.
