The American State Bank’s Relay Team will have a car and dog wash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the American State Bank parking lot.
Also Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m., Calvary Baptist Church’s Prayer Warriors will have a garage sale and bake sale at 2405 Ave. H. The team will also sponsor a bake sale at Wal-Mart beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 10th.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 for a Tailgate Bar-B-Q Pit, $2 for a children’s picnic table, and $2 for a gift basket.
On Thursday, May 6th, Calvary’s Prayer Warriors will receive the proceeds from the first night’s tickets at the door and the concession stand at the Ritz Theater. For more information call Catalina at 573-5045.
W.T.C. is selling Western Texas College Supports Relay for Life Pins for $5. One dollar of each sale will be set aside for a Drawing and $4 goes to the American Cancer Society. The drawing will be held Saturday morning, April 24, at the end of the relay. For more details call Jeanine Wilburn at 573-8511 ext. 218.
The First Ag. Credit team will have a play day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 17th. at the First Ag. Credit parking lot, 5111 College Ave.
There will also be a petting zoo, horseback riding, tractor riding, hot dogs and drinks. There will be a small admission fee.
