The board was to have met with one of two remaining candidates for the vacant chief executive officer’s position, Evan Moore, of Comanche.
Moore has withdrawn his name for consideration.
On March 13, the board did meet with the other finalist, Carol Hanes of Linden.
The next discussion of the vacan t CEO’s position will be Thursday morning at the hospital’s regular board meeting.
Currently, director of nurses Cheryl Chance, is serving as the acting administrator.
