Former National Football League referee Red Cashion and his team won the Sammy Baugh Birthday Celebrity golf tournament on Saturday with a 56.

Cashion and his team, including Lyn Watwood, Turner Watwood and Jim Erwin were three strokes ahead of Don Maynard’s second place group.

Maynard, Charles Hankson, Jeff Smith and Jerry Williams fired a 59.

Cotton Davidson, Ken Lawrence, Monroe Lawrence and Bryan Anderson were third with a 60.

John David Crow teamed up with Bob O’Day, Mike O’Day and Bill Philen for a fourth-place 62.

Bobby Joe Conrad’s team, including David Holt, Milton Ham and Bruce Baugh was fifth with a 63, while Dave Parks, Randy Weaver, Jay Weaver and Sonny Cumbie were sixth with a 65.

Lynn Watwood of Lakewood, Colo., was closest to the pin at 8-2 on hole one, while former WTC golfer Ken Lawrence had the longest drive at 330 yards.
