The Tigers picked up another win at the Burkburnett varsity baseball tournament Friday, winning a tiebreaker against Midwest City, Okla., after the teams played to a 6-6 stalemate in a timed game.

Snyder claimed the win with the base-runner tie-breaker, 13-8.

Snyder got down 5-1 after three innings, before battling back to score five in the fourth to take a 6-5 lead.

Midwest City tied it up in the final inning with a pinch-hit solo home run.

“Our guys played well,” head coach Charles Bollinger said. “(Midwest City) had good pitchers and hit the ball well. They’re good.”

Hadley Hirt had a big day at the plate, going 3-for-3 and driving in two runs in the pivotal fourth inning.

Bradley Price and Jordan Dea also picked up RBIs, and Eric Martinez added a base hit.

Alex Neal got the win, pitching the final 3 2-3 in relief of freshman hurler Ryan Mitchell. The Tigers (9-2) were scheduled to play Pampa at 10:30 Saturday morning.
