The meeting is sponsored by the Citizens Corp of Scurry County and the Snyder clean-up committee. Both projects will be discussed and citizens will be able to ask questions of the participants.
“The entire community is invited to Monday’s meeting,” said Vicki Shroyer, executive director of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce.
Part of the program will address a neighborhood watch program.
“This is a volunteer program that promotes people working together to help our police department protect citizen’s property,” said Shroyer.
“Due to the large number of cars being vandalized, along with home burglaries and damaged mailboxes, both groups have joined forces to promote neighbors working together,” said Shroyer.
“The meeting is for the public and everyone is invited,” emphasized Shroyer.
