The meeting is sponsored by the Citizens Corp of Scurry County and the Snyder clean-up committee.
“Come and see how you can participate in a neighborhood watch,” said Vicki Shroyer, executive director of the Snyder Chamber of Commerce.
“This is a volunteer program that promotes people working together to help our police department protect our personal property,” said Shroyer.
“Due to the large number of cars being vandalized, along with home burglaries and damaged mailboxes, both groups have joined forces to promote neighbors working together,” said Shroyer.
Shroyer said the time frame of the program will allow plenty of questions from those in attendance.
“The meeting is for the public and everyone is invited,” said Shroyer.
