Rain and soggy fields continue to delay the start of the 2004 season for the Snyder baseball clubs.

Tuesday’s opener with Abilene Wylie, tentatively scheduled for today, has been pushed back to Saturday.

The Tigers were originally slated to play just Pecos, but will now play both the Eagles and Wylie at Moffett Field Saturday.

Snyder will play Pecos at 2 p.m., with Pecos and Wylie squaring off at the conclusion of that contest.

The Tigers will then play Wylie in the 7:30 nightcap.

The Snyder junior varsity tournament has been rained out.

The JV will host a doubleheader with Lamesa at 4 p.m. Friday at Moffett, and will travel to Wylie Saturday for a 1 p.m. tilt with the junior Bulldogs.
