The Ira Bulldogs’ season came to an end Tuesday following a 57-40 loss to District 8 champion Aspermont in the bi-district round in Class A Division II. <p></b></i></u>

In other area games, Sweetwater was done in by Kermit, 39-36, in the bi-district round in the Class 3A playoffs, while Denver City remains alive and will play Dimmitt at 7 p.m. Friday at Lubbock Coronado. Merkel, which had a bye in the bi-district round, will face Littlefield in the area round with a site and time not yet determined.<p></b></i></u>
The Canyon girls will move on to play Graham in the regional semifinal at 8:30 p.m. Friday at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.<p></b></i></u>
