Four Lady Tigers earned spots on the 3-3A All-District team, after completing a 28-3 season and rolling through the district undefeated.
The Lady Tigers won their first district championship since 1980 and won the first playoff game in the program’s history when they defeated Perryton in the area playoff.
Coaches also did not select a first or second team, instead choosing 10 girls for the all-district roster.
District coaches broke with tradition and did not select anyone for Coach of the Year this season.
In the past, the top coach honor has gone to the pilot of the district champions.
“Coach (Mike) Martin certainly deserves it,” said Snyder athletic director Chad Rogers.
