Twenty-nine votes were cast Monday on the first day of early voting for the March 9 primary.

And this morning, 11 additional ballots were cast.

Voters may cast their ballots through March 5 in the cou nty courtroom on the third floor of the courthouse.

Voting hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

“The turnout has been steady so far,” said County Clerk Joan Bunch. “And we’re expecting that it will stay that way.”
