ests in District 3-3A.

Tonight’s scheduled district game between the Snyder Tigers and the Denver City Mustangs has been postponed, with a decision on whether to play a make-up game still looming at press time.

Denver City has all but clinched the second seed in the district. They have two losses with two games remaining, while Lamesa has four losses.

Lamesa is scheduled to host Merkel tonight, and that contest has not been postponed. Should the Badgers beat Lamesa, Denver City will secure the second seed.

The tilt between Sweetwater and Seminole also has been postponed, and will be made up at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The game is a must-play for those two clubs, which hold identical 3-5 records and are fighting for the final playoff spot in the district.

The Snyder varsity tennis team has cancelled this weekend’s tournament in Big Spring, while the JV team will not play at Colorado City.

The JV golf tournament in Big Spring also was cancelled.
