Snyder ISD will have a work day Friday and students will not attend school due to the teacher in-service day. Snyder students and staff will have a holiday on Monday in observance of President’s Day. Hermleigh and Ira schools will follow their regular schedule.
Snyder city offices and Scurry County governmental offices will be closed on Monday. The county library will be closed on Saturday and Monday.
Snyder, Ira and Hermleigh Post Offices also will be closed on Monday and there will be no home delivery of mail in Snyder. Mail will be placed in boxes in Snyder.
American State Bank, First American Bank, Snyder National Bank, Texas Savings Bank and West Texas State Bank also will close on Monday as it is a federal holiday.
