Soon all of the headaches will pay off with the opening of a new store called Bargain Warehouse Outlet.
Bargain Warehouse Outlet is targeted to open next month, located between Eckerd Drug and Family Dollar. The company, which has stores in Lubbock and Dallas, carries name-brand closeouts from major clothing retailers such as J.C. Penney, Sears and Macy’s.
“We have other stores in several areas, including the Dallas area,” said Rick Rodriguez, spokesman for Bargain Warehouse Outlet. “We carry new, name-brand clothing items, including accessories, from name-brand stores.”
Rodriguez added that he appreciates the welcoming attitude of the residents of Snyder, many of them already having been loyal customers of the Lubbock store.
“We had a large number of customers who would drive to our Lubbock store and tell us to think about opening a store in Snyder, so we started to research the possibility.
“We looked at a map and saw Snyder and its proximity to surrounding towns such as Roby, Sweetwater and Colorado City. This has been about six months in the making, but we’re finally to the point where we will open very soon,” said Rodriguez.
Bargain Warehouse Outlet is expected to be open March 1. Representatives will be at the Varsity Square location accepting job applications Wednesday and will be looking to fill a number of positions.
“We are very excited to be opening the new store there. We appreciate everyone’s support and we’re looking forward to becoming part of Snyder and the surrounding community.”
