The Borden County Coyotes turned it on in the fourth quarter Tuesday, overcoming a 33-31 deficit to top the Ira Bulldogs, 46-41.

The Bulldogs have alr eady secured the second playoff spot in District 7, and will play Aspermont on Feb. 24 in Post for the bi-district trophy, with tip-off tentatively set for 7:30 p.m.

Jake Barnes and Wes Kellner each scored 13 points for the Bulldogs, who finished the regular season with a 12-9 overall record and a 7-3 mark in district.

Grady, which earned the district championship early last week, completed a perfect district season Tuesday with a 47-point win over Klondike. Their regular season record was 27-1.

The Lady Coyotes took care of Ira in the final regular season games for both clubs, holding the Lady Bulldogs to just one point in the first quarter of a 47-29 win Tuesday.

Kelbi Pitner led the Lady Dawgs with 15, and Lindsey Wilson connected for 10.

The win leaves Borden County in a first-place tie with Grady in District 7. The teams will hold a playoff to determine the champion.

That contest is tentatively scheduled for 6:30 Friday night at Howard College.
