The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting Tuesday at the Scurry County Courthouse to discuss the Trans -- Texas Corridor. The purpose is to give the public an opportunity to submit comments on potential routes.
The corridor is a new type of transportation network that includes roads, rail and a utility zone designed to move people and goods faster and safer.
Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6 p.m.
