Hermleigh ISD board of trustees will meet at 7 p.m. today and is expected to take formal action on hiring Jason Brewer as the district’s athletic director and head coach.<p></b></i></u>
The meeting, to be held in the high school library, was originally set for Monday but was changed to today due to conflicts.<p></b></i></u>
Brewer is currently the head coach and athletic director at Charlotte High School in Atascosa County where he has been since July 2002.<p></b></i></u>
He has a total of seven years head coaching experience.<p></b></i></u>
Prior to moving to Charlotte, Brewer coached at Cotulla.<p></b></i></u>
The district received 80 resumes for the position.<p></b></i></u>
Hermleigh will begin playing 11-man football this fall and under the new UIL alignment, will be in the same district as Bronte, Forsan, Roby, Roscoe, Sterling City and Winters.</b></u></i><P ALIGN LEFT><hr>
