The Snyder Lady Tigers can clinch a share of the district title when they take on the Maidens in Seminole at 6:30 tonight.

The Lady Tigers (24-2, 7-0) will try to sweep the season series with the Maidens (7-17, 2-5) and win their 23rd straight game in the process.

Snyder can clinch the district outright with a win and a Lamesa loss to Denver City (12-13, 2-5) tonight. Lamesa (16-9, 5-2) trails Snyder by two games.

Sweetwater (22-5, 4-3) will look to keep pace for the third playoff spot when it hosts Merkel (4-22, 1-6).

The Tigers hope to secure their first district win of the season when they take on the Indians in Seminole at 8 tonight.

Snyder (8-18, 0-5) will try to spoil the Indians late-season playoff push. Seminole (11-12, 2-3) can pull into a three-way tie for second with a win and losses by Denver City and Sweetwater.

Sweetwater hosts Merkel, and Denver City will battle Lamesa.

In other area action, the Ira Bulldogs will try to keep pace in District 7 with a win when they host K londike. The Bulldogs will tip-off at 8, while the Lady Bulldogs will get underway at 6:30.

The Hermleigh varsity teams, both still seeking their first district win this year, host Blackwell beginning at 6:30 p.m.
