The Scurry County grand jury on Monday returned nine indictments, including one against an individual accused of stealing around $14,000 from Taco Bell over a three-month period.

Juan Xavier Flores, 34, whose current address is the Nolan County Jail, was indicted for the internal thefts at Taco Bell that began in November and continued until early January.

Flores is accused of taking money from the restaurant one time in November, 16 times in December and twice in January.

Flores’ bond is set at $5,000 for the state jail felony offense.

Two persons were indicted and charged with breaking into a home on Jan. 17.

Arrested Monday evening were Naomie Larralde, 22, of 2891 25th in Snyder and Christopher Sookraj, 21, of 244 E. James in Hermleigh.

Bonds are set at $10,000 for each and both are currently in Scurry County Jail.

Indicted for possession of marijuana in a correctional facility was Manuel Martinez Herrera Jr., 31, of 809 27th St. His bond is set at $5,000 and he is in Scurry County Jail where Herrera is accused of having possession of the drug on Jan. 3.

Angel Reyes, 49, of 2209 Ave. O was indicted for the Dec. 23 offense of felony driving while intoxicated.

Prior DWI convictions were in 1994 in Travis County and 2000 in Scurry County. Reyes is out of jail on a $5,000 bond.

Indicted for criminal mischief was Jeremy Hegedus, 23, of 4503 College Ave., Apt. 3. He is accused of damaging a vehicle on Jan. 3. Hegedus is out of jail on a $5,000 bond.

Tommy Becerra Rodriguez, 20, of 3118 Ave. T was indicted for the Dec. 19 offense of possession of cocaine. Rodriguez remains in jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Christopher Mikael Hanson, 29, of 208 Glover in Sulphur Springs was indicted for the Dec. 19 offense of possession of methamphetamine. Hanson is out of jail on a $5,000 bond.

Jason Chance Brown, 23, of 5920 CR 465 was indicted for the April 28 offense of forgery. He is accused of writing a check on a closed account. Brown was arrested last night and is out of jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
