Short won the state 2A singles title in her first year of eligibilty. She went 28-1 and cruised through the district schedule without losing a game.
She beat Reagan County’s Heather Ridgeway, 6-0, 6-0, in the finals.
She and her twin sister, Jordan, were third in the region in doubles.
