Scurry County commissioners court will focus on the upcoming March primary when the court convenes at 10 a.m. Monday. The court will see a demonstration on electronic voting presented by Roger Tinner, a representative of Hart InterCivic’s eSlate electronic voting system. In other business the court will consider additional appointments to various boards. Also on the agenda is a review of bids for fuel and bulk oil. Also, the court will hear the treasurer’s quarterly report, consider retired peace officer proficiency certificates which allows qualified retired law enforcement officers with 20 years of service to continue to carry a firearm, and the establishment of a change fund for the adult probation department.
