“We’ll have a limited number of seats available for the special 1:30 matinee,” said Carolyn Barbee.
Tickets will be on sale through the week at Barbee Medical Supply, 3801 College Ave.
Barbee also said the box office at the Ritz would open at 9 a.m. on the day of the car show to sell tickets.
“There will be coupons available for a dollar off a ticket,” said Barbee.
The annual car show begins at 9 p.m. Friday with a poker run to benefit Gateway Family Services.
With the exception of the poker run and controlled cruise on 37th Street Saturday evening, the entire event will be held on the downtown square.
There will be a large number of cars on display for the viewing public, plus a swap meet will be held with a little bit of everything offered.
There also will be a burnout contest, lawn mower drag races and a Hula-Hoop contest.
Cars from all over the Southwest are expected to be at the show, plus local car club members will have their vehicles on display.
The event is sponsored by the Sonic Drive-In and includes a $500 Best of Show award sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts.
