University of North Texas sophomore and 2002 Snyder High School graduate Andra Lancaster was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference team placing third in the individual standings at the conference golf tournament last week.

Lancaster fired a final-round, even-par 72 at Bluewater Bay and Resort in Niceville, Fla. She ended the tournament with a 54-hole score of 223.

Lancaster missed out on a playoff, finishing one-shot behind the eventual champion Lehua Wise of New Mexico State.

Lancaster lettered all four years in golf at Snyder High School and was team captain for two years

Lancaster’s collegiate success is a carryover from high school, as she was selected to the first team all-district tea m her sophomore, junior and senior seasons, garnered all-region recognition all three years and was selected all-state as a junior and senior.
