The Western Texas College Lady Dusters were swept by Midland College Thursday, 9-0 and 2-1, as the team winds down its second season.
The Dusters (27-32, 14-22) were eliminated from playoff contention last week, and have four games remaining on the schedule.
Amber House was tagged with the loss in the 9-0 defeat in the opener, while Pat Gonzales suffered a loss in which she did not allow an earned run.
“I think Pat can pitch all day and they wouldn’t be able to score on her,” head coach Rodney McNeill said.
WTC ends the season series with Midland with a 4 p.m. doubleheader today, and finishes the season Monday with a noon doubleheader against Howard College in a pair of make-up games.
