One-act play competition gets harder as schools climb the ladder of success.

Snyder will be one of six high school drama groups to take to the stage Friday at UIL regional one-act play contest at Odessa College.

All performances will be in Deaderick Hall.

Snyder’s A Mid Summer’s Night Dream will perform fifth out of six schools, around 3 p.m. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Director Michael McQuerry said he is proud of his students who earned a trip to one of four regions in 3A competition.

“The competition is intense but the students are excited to be in the regional meet,” McQuerry said.
