Lola Wagner
1957-2004
Lola L. Wagner of Snyder died Tuesday, April 20, in
Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Service for Mrs. Wagner, 46, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday
in the Wright Colonial Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Bennie Woods, retired
pastor of the Church of God. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Born Sept. 15, 1957 in Fort Worth, she married David
Wagner on Nov. 27, 1978. Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Jewel
Dean Tuggle; and a brother, Sam Tuggle.
Survivors include her husband, David Wagner of Snyder;
three daughters, Christina Wagner and Alicia Wagner, both of Snyder and Deanna Rae
Kinchloe of Odessa; a son, David L. Wagner of Snyder; a brother, Bobby Tuggle of Clyde;
several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
Donald Palmer
1946-2004
LIBERTY -- Funeral service for Donald Palmer, a Snyder
native, will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in
Liberty.
Mr. Palmer, 58, was born on April 5, 1946, in Snyder to
Teddie Lee and Oddest Franks Palmer.
He graduated from Snyder High School in 1964 and later
attended Lubbock Christian College. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Palmer retired from the Texas Department of Public
Safety where he held a Special Rangers Commission. Mr. Palmer was currently employed by
the Liberty Police Department, serving as commander of the Liberty-Chambers County
narcotics task force. Mr. Palmer was a member of the Texas State Troopers Association,
Department of Public Safety Association and the Texas Narcotics Officers Association. He
also was a member of the VFW and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Liberty.
Mr. Palmer is preceded in death by his parents; one
brother; and a daughter, Tara Dawn Palmer.
He is survived by his wife, Retha Palmer; two
stepdaughters, Christie McBride, Carla Culver; a stepson, Randy Lemke; one brother,
Kenneth Palmer; three sisters, Maurine Chandler, Judy Dempsey and Wilma Rogers; and three
granddaughters, Jadyn Baragan, Jacie Culver and Haylee Lemke.
Arrangements are under the direction of Allison Funeral
Services in Liberty.
Mrs. McCullough
1939-2004
MIDLAND -- Sarah McCullough, a former Snyder resident,
died Monday, April 19, in Midland.
A memorial service for Mrs. McCullough, 64, is set for 1
p.m. Thursday in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis Lillard officiating.
Born Sept. 24, 1939 in Snyder to John and Myrtle Baze
Johnston, she had been a resident of Midland for 38 years where she was a member of the
Midland Senior Center and was also a senior companion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E.W.
McCullough; her parents; four sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly
Jean and Terry Ives of Midland and Cerena and Rick Suarez of El Paso; a brother of Dale
Johnston of Snyder; three sisters, Francis Hughes and Beverly Ainsworth, both of Snyder,
and Jody Bradley of Sourlake; and five grandchildren.

Jeanie Echols
1938-2004
Jeanie Echols, 65, died Monday, April 19, in Snyder Oaks
Care Center.
Funeral service for Mrs. Echols was set for 2 p.m. today
in the Albany First Christian Church with the Rev. Colby Smith officiating. Burial was to
follow in the Albany Cemetery.
Born Dec. 27, 1938 in Clarendon, she married Robert
Echols on Dec. 22, 2004 in Dallas.
A homemaker, she was a member of the First Christian
Church and a founder of the Albany chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Echols of Albany;
two daughters, Jeanine Hill of Albany and Jan Matthews of Grand Prairie; two
stepdaughters, Robbie Gehling of Hutchinson, Kan., and Jill Colb of Colleyville; three
brothers, Dwight McAnear of Durango, Colo., Ronnie McAnear of Clarendon and Freddie
McAnear of Pearland; her mother, Mrs. J.G. McAnear of Clarendon; and five grandchildren.
