MIDLAND -- The Snyder boys finished eighth in the field at the regional golf tournament, firing a 325 in the final round.<p></b></i></u>
Jay Weaver paced the Tigers with a 78-83 161.<p></b></i></u>
Alan Gray had the best round for the boys Tuesday, shooting a 78. Jake Cottrell shaved 10 strokes off his first-round score to card an 81 and Wyl Wiggins fired an 83. <p></b></i></u>
Tanner Bloom shot an 88 in the final round.<p></b></i></u>
Region I will be represented at state by Slaton and Canyon.<p></b></i></u>
Slaton came up big in the final round, posting a team total 307 to break a third-place tie with runner-up Canyon and leap over Monahans and Graham. <p></b></i></u>
