Western Texas College will host a reception for its new community meeting room at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The room is named the Pruitt Community Room in honor of the late Dr. Franklin B. Pruitt who taught social studies at Snyder High School from 1952 until 1974 and at Western Texas College from 1974 until 1988.
