The Snyder Tigers are right in the middle of a three-game road swing, traveling to Denver City today to take on the Mustangs at 7 p.m.

The game pairs two teams going in opposite directions.

Snyder (16-3, 6-0) sits alone in first place in District 3-3A, having won six straight, while Denver City (7-15, 0-6) has scored just four runs in six district games, while giving Lamesa its only district triumph.

Snyder had its biggest run total of the season Tuesday in a 23-1 annihilation of Lamesa. The Tigers batted around in each of the first three innings, while battering four Golden Tor pitchers over the first 2 1/3 innings.

Denver City also had its highest scoring output of the season Tuesday, plating three runs in a 16-3 loss to second-place Sweetwater.

Lico Castillo will get the start for Snyder, his first in district.
