October Wells continued her march towards the regional track meet Friday, grabbing two golds and two silvers for the fourth-place Lady Tigers at the Colorado City meet.

The Lady Tigers finished with 56 points.

Wells blew out the field in the 100m dash, breaking the tape at 12 even, and followed with a first place leap of 34-9 in the triple jump.

Wells secured a silver in the long jump with a distance of 17-10. She also anchored the sprint relay team of Terann Ragland, Sequoya Powell and Nicki Traylor to a silver medal time of 50.83.

Candace Chandler earned fourth (64.40) in the 400 run, Burles on was sixth (49.64) in the 300 hurdles and Traylor was sixth (27.60) in the 200 sprint.

Burleson, Ragland, Chandler and Jordan Stansell came in fifth in the mile relay with a time of 4:28.59.

The girls will compete in the district meet Wednesday and Saturday at Tiger Stadium.
