Relay team fund-raising activities include the Northeast Elementary team raffling two $50 Gift Cards from United Supermarket. Team members will sell $1 chances April 17 in front of the store.
Survivors will begin the Relay for Life activities with a Victory Lap at 6 p.m. April 23 at Tiger Stadium. Immediately following, survivors will be treated to a barbecue meal. Spouses and caregivers are welcome to eat for a suggested donation of $5 and are encouraged to bring chairs and games for a night of fellowship.
The Luminary service will be held around 10 p.m. Those attending are invited to find and stand by the sack representing their friend or loved one. Sacks may be purchased for a suggested price of $5. Anyone wanting to have a sack displayed on the track may contact Helen Mock, at 573-8332.
Christians Fighting Cancer from 37th Street Church of Christ are selling raffle tickets for a suggested price of $2 each or 3 for $5. Prizes will be given at various times during the night.
Prizes include four Six Flags tickets, a 1-year membership to Elite Fitness, six sessions personal training with Lydia at Elite Fitness, one body wrap at Tiger Fitness, two $50 gas cards from Phillips 66.
