After its session Monday morning, Scurry County commissioners court went to meet with several senior officials from the Department of Public Safety’s Austin office.<p></b></i></u>
According to County Judge Rod Waller, the officials expressed their gratitude for the donation of a two-acre tract for a new DPS office in Snyder. <p></b></i></u>
“They told us they wanted to start construction as soon as they have funds available,” Waller said<p></b></i></u>
Waller said he was told that State Rep. Scott Campbell is working to obtain necessary funding.</b></u></i><P ALIGN LEFT><hr>
