The Scurry County grand jury meeting Monday returned nine indictments, including two against a male subject who has yet to be arrested.

Also, an indictment was returned against a female who also has not been arrested.

Indicted for burglary of a habitation was Jammie Allen Treat, 17, of 1663 Huffman Ave. who was charged with the Feb. 27 of burglary of a building. Treat is in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Adam Morales Jr., 32, of 701 16th St. was indicted for the March 4 offense of possessing a firearm by a felon before the fifth anniversary of his release from parole.

Morales was convicted of burglary in Midland County in 1993 and of burglary of a motor vehicle in Big Spring in 1991.

Morales also was charged with escape as he left the exercise yard of Scurry County Jail on March 8. Morales remains in jail on two $10,000 bonds.

Jose Louis Hermocillo, 40, of 1209½ Ave. T was indicted for the March 19 offense of felony driving while intoxicated.

He has prior DWI convictions in Nolan County in January 2004 and in Scurry County in 1984. Hermocillo is out of jail on a $5,000 bond.

Manuel Martinez Herrera Jr., 31, of 809 27th St. was indicted for the Jan. 3 offense of possessing marijuana in the Scurry County Jail. Herrera is out of jail with bond set at $5,000.

Rumaldo Martinez, 37, of 1407 Bristol Dr. in Killeen was indicted for the Feb. 8 offense of burglary of Northeast Elementary School. Martinez remains in jail on a $5,000 bond.
