The Snyder Lady Tigers continued their march through District 3-3A unscathed Saturday, getting a complete game shutout from Ashley Martinez to top Lubbock Cooper, 2-0.

Martinez allowed five hits while striking out five.

Neither team scored until Erin Hackfeld drove in Amber Luecke with an RBI single in the fifth.

Luecke was 1-for-2, and Laura Clanton laced two doubles in the win.

The Lady Tigers (15-8, 7-0) host Sweetwater at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The junior varsity team topped Cooper, 10-9, in five innings.

Tana Sullenger got the win, and Sarah Covington was credited with the save.

Destinee Proctor, Tara Robertson and Jessica Calvert each drove in two runs, while Robertson, Covington, Calvert and Joshlyn Tovar collected two hits apiece.

The JV hosts Sweetwater at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
